Matthew Thorn Smith graduated from the School of Visual Arts in the Spring of 2014 with a BFA in Photography. He has since shown his photographs in several group shows in Manhattan and Brooklyn. His work focuses on formal compositions of nature, capturing people in place and time, as well as the exploration of self through portraiture. Thorn now lives on Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes of NY, working in the vineyards of this beautiful wine region.
